The film industry is very huge. It consists of a large number of actors, fimmakers, musicians, editors and many more. Altogether, they make one successful movie or series. Sometimes the message easily reaches to people and sometimes, they don't as a result of which some films don't do well at the box office and some series are forced to bw shut down after a certain period of time. However, these failures sometimes have a negative impact on the minds of some actors. This leads them to suffer from some sort of illness. A few of them who have gone through this phase are listed below -

1. MEL GIBSON

Each and every one of us are familiar with the name Mel Gibson. He has been able to get official recognition because of his role in "Hacksaw Ridge". He has been suffering from bipolar disorder because of stress. He tried to get rid of it by getting himself addicted to alcohol but was ultimately caught once for drink and drive case.

Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 gothic horror film "Bram Stoker's Dracula" was acclaimed by critics and audiences. Winona Ryder was appreciated for her role as Mina Harker and Elisabeta. She was suffering from depression as a result of which she was involved in a shoplifting incident but later recovered and continued her successful journey in films.

7. CARA DELAVIGNE

Cara Delavigne is a well known name among all of us. She suffered from depression since the time when she was 16 years old and remained away from school for six months for proper recovery. However, many fans have disagreed to this problem and claims that she might be lying.

8. CATHERINE ZETA-JONES

Being a diva and becoming a sensation over a short period of time is not an easy job. Catherine Zeta-Jones has her own history of dealing with mental illness as she suffers from bipolar identity disorder. She has visited hospital in 2011 and 2013 as a result of her emotional turmoil.

A professional actor needs to handle a large number of things in his or her day-to-day life. Despite having a loving husband and a beautiful daughter, she suffers from postpartum depression. She also had to take a therapy in 2016 and wasn't seen on the big screen for a certain period of time.

Emma Stone is known for her roles as Gwen Stacy and Mia Dolan in "The Amazing Spider-Man" film franchise and "La La Land", the latter also made her a recipient of the Best Actress Award at the 89th Academy Awards. Despite having a successful career, she suffers from the problem of anxiety. She tried to leave her home at the age of 14 and was trying to convince her parents through a PowerPoint presentation.

18. ADAM LEVINE

Adam Levine is famous as a musician from the highly popular Maroon 5. He has the problem of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder since his childhood. This has also resulted for him not being able to focus properly on his music career and do the day-to-day activities like a normal person.
